Hirotaka launched in Soho, New York with a small trunk show that caught the eye of editors and stylists in 2010. Unexpected minimal yet edgy pieces like sleek pearl ear cuffs and delicate diamond bars quickly gained momentum. Hirotaka is now available worldwide and opened its first flagship store in Omotesando Hills, Tokyo in 2016. Hirotaka shops are intimate, a space where you can see his creative process and truly understand where the pieces come from. Each boutique has a unique, individual theme created by the in- house Visual Merchandising Team. Designs feature sustainable materials such as coconut fiber, natural stone, hemp oil, amongst others. Hirotaka has a very organic approach to design, all creations begin with his drawings and sketches. The collection is handmade by skilled artisans in Japan, where attention to detail is so important and Hirotaka can pursue his pieces in a very delicate, abstract, and minimal Japanese aesthetic.
